"The Office" Show Analysis
After watching the the first episode again, I find it hilarious how Jim's prank on Dwight starts out childish and then evolves as the series progress. Michael is not the kind of boss that any company would put in the manager position, but he is someone who everybody could get along with, except Pam because she has to take care of all his messages and always involve with most of his pranks. I find Michael has mean jokes played on people to impress others and he is more of a friend, than manager.
The specifics items conveyed in the show would be the mug Michael scott drinks from because no one brought him that mug, he brought it himself thinking that he is the "world's best boss". Not everybody in the office thinks he is the greatest boss because he never gets things done and plays along with everybody's prank. Dwight's personal space is an important item to him because it shows he does want to share what he has with others. If he is successful, he does want anybody else to share his success. The Jello used in the show is important because it kind of portrays how everybody is stuck together in one office working together and they can't wiggle out of it.
The major relationship is the love triangle that Jim created because he likes Pam, but Pam already has a fiancé named Roy. There are the prankster which would be Jim and Dwight because they have a rivalry against each other and Michael thinks it is funny, so he tries to get himself involved with it. There are people who care about their jobs like Angela who is scared that she is going to get fired and the intern who is trying to the job at the company. Job cares about his job and tries to get motivated by pranking Dwight.
The environment affects people differently in the show because since it is on office, people like angela, kevin, and oscar tries to get serious when doing their job. Pam is serious about her job because when Michael fired her, she cried because she wanted to keep her job. While Michael, he wants to make the office a fun working environment, so he plays around and awkwardly communicates with the workers. Furthermore Jim wants to get serious with his work, but he gets bored with it and plays around with dwight.
